AS A BULLDOG:
2018: Emerged as a valuable double-threat offensive fit with the Bulldogs in addition to residing atop the team's kick return yardage charts ... finished the year ranking third among Bulldogs with 27 receptions while his 125 rushing yards put him eighth on the club ... was the owner of UMD 2018 single-game highs for both receving yards (149 in a 63-7 takedown of Minnesota Crookston) and catches (6, which he did twice) ... returned a team-leading nine kickoffs for a 23.4 yard average ... rolled up a career-best 71 yards on the ground (on seven carries) in his UMD debut -- the seasono opener at Minota State.
2017: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (slot receiver and running back) at Waukesha West High School ...also returned punts and kicks for the Wolverines and was bestowed with an All-Classic 8 Conference first team citation in 2016 as an all-purpose back ... was named Waukesha West High School's Special Teams Player of the Year the the previous season... played under head coach Steve Rux ... started a pair of seasons in both basketball (point guard) and baseball (outfielder) at Waukesha West High School.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Tim and Lisa Hudson ... his uncle, Peter Underwood, was a linebacker at the University of Wisconsin during the late 1980s .... is majoring in business at UMD.
