Biography

AS A BULLDOG: stepped right into the starting action as a rookie third baseman … displayed good power, hammering seven over the fence (tied for second on the team with Mullen) including two grand slams … averaged .240 on the year with 27 runs batted while producing a .413 slugging percentage … showed patience at the plate and a keen eye with 21 walks.

BEFORE UMD: Was one of the anchors of the Totino Grace High School infield for the past four seasons ... landed All-North Suburban Conference and All-Section acclaim as a senior  ... captained the Eagles in 2011 ... also lettered twice in volleyball (libero) at Totino-Grace High School.

PERSONAL: Born Jordan C. Rice on March 10, 1993 in Ham Lake, Minn. ... is the daughter of Steve and Diane Rice ... has one younger sister (Lexi) ... is majoring in exercise science at UMD.
