Biography
2021-22: Will centralize with the Chinese Olympic Team ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
2020-21: Skated in all 19 games for UMD, adding a goal and two assists for three points...had one power play goal...named to the American Hockey Coaches Association 2020-21 Division I Krampade All-American Scholar List, as well as an 2020-21 WCHA Scholar Athlete and All-WCHA Academic Team member.
2019-20: Hit the ice in all 36 games for the Bulldogs as a freshman, recording four points on two goals and two assists...netted one game-winning goal against Colgate in the Ice Breaker Tournament, and after scoring a goal in each tournament game, was selected to the All-Tournament Team...also garnered a WCHA Rookie of the Week honor on Oct. 29, 2019 for her offensive efforts.
BEFORE UMD: Was a member of Team Alberta in the 2018 U-18 Championship, and was chosen to the 2018 Team Alberta U-18 Team Alberta Camp to compete in the Canada Winter Games in February of 2019 ... participated in the 2018 Team China National Development Camp. Named the 2018 Top Scorer at Okanagan Hockey Academy Female Prep ... also a 2018 Top Academic at OHA Female Prep, as well as Tournament Champion at the 2018 Stoney Creek University Showcase ... was a 2017 Canadian Sports Hockey League Female Prep League Champion, and in 2016 was the top scorer for the Rocky Mountain Raiders, as well as an assistant captain.
PERSONAL: Born Kasundra Primylean Betinol on June 14, 2001 in Calgary, Alberta ... is the daughter of Al and Teresa Betinol ... has both an older brother (Joshua) and younger brother (Isaiah) ... graduated from George Elliott Secondary School in 2019 ... is biology major at UMD.
