Why I chose UMD: I chose UMD because I felt most comfortable here. The guys on the team are the type of people I like to hangout and I feel like UMD goes best with my personality
Influences on My Athletic Career: The biggest influences on my athletic career have been my high school teammates and coach as well as my family. My family has always supported me throughout my years of athletics despite the sport I am competing in.
What Most People Don’t Know About Me: almost quit running after my freshman year in favor of playing football, but some of my teammates convinced me running was the better option… they were right.
Pre-meet Ritual or Superstition: Before every race I say a little prayer and give my parents a little thumbs up
Favorite professional athlete: Kyle Merber, because his tweets are funny
Sport I’d like to try someday: Ultimate frisbee
