Biography
GETTING TO KNOW MADISON:
Why I Chose UMD: I decided to come to UMD because when I walked around the campus I felt like I belonged here. I used to drive up here every summer growing up, and it was my favorite place to be, so deciding to come here was a given.
Influences On My Athletic Career: My family was a big influence on my athletic career. My grandfather hurdled for UMN, and my dad was an amazing hurdler and placed 3rd two years in a row at state in high school. I always strive to make those two proud of the athlete and women I am today.
What Most People Don't Know About Me: Most people don’t know that back home I have a small hobby farm with horses, chickens, goats, dogs, and cats.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: I have to wear the same socks on every race day.
Favorite Professional Athlete: Allyson Felix, she is an amazing runner.
Sport I'd Like to Try Someday: I guess hockey, but I don’t think I will every try it.

High School Attended: Bay Port High School
Years Lettered/Competed with Varsity: 4
High School Highlights: Made it to state twice in two individual events, a back to back conference champion in the 300m hurdles, and a conference champion in the long jump.
