GETTING TO KNOW ABBIE:
Why I Chose UMD: I chose UMD for the quality of the school, the town, and all of the fun activities they provide.
Influences On My Athletic Career: One of the biggest influences that has kept me doing track is the teammates and connections that I’ve made. I also really love the adrenaline of competing and improving.
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I’ve gone on two road trips to California and up the coast with my friends.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: I definitely think it’s bad luck to talk about the bad things that could happen before competing and I usually just like to relax and imagine myself vaulting with perfect form.
Favorite Professional Athlete: Simone Biles
Sport I'd Like to Try Someday: I think it would be really fun to be in hockey.
