BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (wide receiver and defensive back) at Hopkins High School ... played under head coach John Denhartog ... corralled All-Suburban Blue Conference acclaim as a senior team captain .. paced the 2019 Royals in scoring and pass receiving yards ... was also a one-year starter in basketball (shooting guard) with the Royals.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Brayone Murff and Laresia Merritt ... has two siblings (Synamin and Persephani Murff) ... plans on majoring in sports marketing at UMD.
