2021-22: Had one of the most recognized seasons in program history, becoming just one of three players in NCAA Division I women's hockey history to be named both a Patty Kazmaier Top-3 Finalist and a Hockey Humanitarian Finalist ... was named a 2021-22 CCM/AHCA First Team All-American, as well as an All-WCHA First Team selection ... scored four goals in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, including the program's first-ever NCAA postseason natural hat trick against Harvard on March 10, 2022 ... with four goals, tied a program record for goals scored in the NCAA Tournament in a single season ... ranked eighth in the nation in points per game overall (1.48 ppg average), and second in game-winning goals in the NCAA with seven ... compiled a career-best 59 points on 22 goals and 37 assists, and led the NCAA in points per game for more than half of the season, all while posting 18 multiple point games ... named the HCA National Player of the Month for December, as well as the WCHA's Forward of the Month ... twice named the WCHA's Forward of the Week (Jan. 31, 2022, and Jan. 3, 2022) named to the 2021-22 All-WCHA All Academic Team.
2020-2021: Continued right where she left off from her junior season offensively, recording 21 points on 10 goals and 11 assists... had seven multiple-point games and scored her 100th career point on Jan. 30, 2021 against St. Cloud, just the 22nd Bulldog all-time hit the milestone...was named to the All-WCHA Second Team for a second consecutive year last season, and finished fifth in scoring in the WCHA...UMD’s leading scorer both her rookie and sophomore season’s, she ranked fifth in the WCHA with a 1.11 points per game average, all the while leading league with 298 face-off wins...was named the WCHA's Forward of the Week on March 1, 2021.
2019-2020: Â The s
ophomore center led UMD in scoring all season with 20 goals and 31 assists for 51 points in just 35 games ... the All-WCHA Second Team member ranked fifth in the WCHA in points and second in the conference with five game-winning goals, and her 51 points ranked her tenth overall in the NCAA ... the three-time WCHA Offensive Player of the Week was just one of two players in the past eight years to register 51 or more points, as well as 30 or more assists, and is one of four players in program history to lead a UMD squad in scoring in back-to-back seasons ... also named to the 2019-20 WCHA All-Academic Team ... named UMD's MVP for second-consecutive year.
2018-2019: Became just
 the third UMD freshman in program history to lead a Bulldog squad in scoring as a rookie, recording a team-high 37 points on 19 goals and 18 assists over 33 games ... Hughes was named to the 2018-19 All-WCHA Third Team, as well as the 2018-19 All-WCHA Rookie Team for her efforts, and was three times named to WCHA Player of the Week Teams ... ranked seventh in the WCHA in scoring and second among all rookies, as well as fifth in the NCAA among all freshmen ... averaged 1.12 points per game ... Selected to the USCHO All-Ro0kie Team and named UMD's MVP.
