AS A BULLDOG: Is back -- all primed and fit -- to fortify the Bulldogs’ running attack this fall following an injury-shortened 2011 season ... was UMD’s leading ground gainer until going on the disabled list (knee) three series into the Oct. 22 clash at Northern State ... erupted for 185 yards (a 2011 team best) and three touchdowns on just 19 carries in a 41-28 victory at Mary one week before that ... raced 75 yards for one of those scores against Mary, which was the longest play from scrimmage by any 2011 Bulldog ... compiled UMD’s highest per-game rushing average (72.9) one year ago ... was redshirted as a first-year freshman in 2010 and didn’t practice the entire fall after injuring his foot in preseason drills.
