BEFORE UMD: Is a 2014 graduate of Duluth Denfeld High School ... played six seasons of prep softball, five as a starter under the tutelage of head coach Dick Swanson ... captained the 2014 Hunters her senior year, which captured their second consecutive Lake Superior Conference title ... chosen as a AAA All-State honorable mention pick in her final prep campaign ... named to the Duluth News-Tribune All-Area team in her final two years and secured Player of the Year honors from the publication in 2014 ... recieved first team all-Lake Superior status in 2013 and 2014  ... voted by her teammates as the team MVP as a junior and a senior ... also lettered in hockey (four times) and volleyball (five times) ... was a member of National Honor Society and was a violinist in the orchestra at Denfeld H.S. ... will be a dual-sport athlete at UMD, also competing with the Bulldog hockey team as a forward.
