AS  A BULLDOG:
2017- A staple in centerfield once again as she was honored with All-NSIC second team acclaim ... was one of four Bulldogs to start in all 55 games ... acknowledged by the NSIC as the top center fielder in the conference earning the NSIC Gold Glove ... a threat in the field also continued on the base paths as she etched her stolen base numbers higher in the UMD record books -- tallying 37 more stolen bases in 43 attempts ... posted a pair of three-steal games (MSU-Moorhead on April 4 and Minnesota Crookston on April 12  ... now has 102 career stolen bases ... her .337 batting average was third among her team ... was a top the leaders in on-base percentage .420 ... held a season high 13-game hitting streak running from March 18 to April 7 ... ended the year on fire with a 12-game hitting streak which bumped her average up 34 points ... paced the team in the leadoff role (.478) ... recorded a team-high eight sacrifice hits ... registered two of her three triples versus St. Cloud State on March 28 ... was a part of the fielding crew that notched the program single-season record for fielding percentage (.974) in school history ... was a NSIC All-Academic Team member for a second year.
2016 - Enjoyed a strong follow up to an exception freshman season... was bestowed with All-NSIC recognition for a second straight year (second team) ... certainly made her presence felt on the base paths -- set UMD program records for both stolen bases (a NSIC-best 40) and stolen base attempts (46), obliterating the previous marks in both of those categories ... was third on the club in hitting (.323) and scored more runs (48) than any other Bulldogs ... worked out of the No. 1 spot in the UMD batting order a majority of her 52 starts ...  batted a team-best .643 when leading off an inning ... collected three hits on two different occasions (vs. Wayne State on April 16 and Northern State four days later) ... was a NSIC All-Academic Team member and a NFCA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
2015 - Made quite a splash -- to say the least -- during her first collegiate go-around ... was one of 10 finalists (along with teammate Becky Smith) for the inaugural National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II National Freshman of the Year Award ... secured All-NSIC (first team) and Daktronics All-Central Region (second team) honors as well ... placed atop the Bulldog hitting charts -- the first rookie to do so since 2000 (Sara Braiedy) -- with a .406 mark and also ranked first on the club in hits (78), runs (48), triples (two), on-base percentage (.427), stolen bases (27-of-29) and multi-hit games (23) ... collected a hit in all but five of her 54 games and advanced runners a team-leading 59.2 percent of the time ... also topped all NSIC freshmen in regular season batting average, hits and runs ... compiled hitting streaks of 17 and nine games during the course of the year ... batted out of the No. 2 (36 games) and lead-off (18) positions while starting 54 of 55 games ... accumulated a team-best 23 multi-hit games ... was a NFCA Scholar-Athlete Award honoree.
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2014 graduate of Grand Rapids High School … starred on the left side of the infield for five years ... is a two-year captain of the Thunder Hawks ... was a three-time selection to the all-section 7AAA team ... received All-Iron Range Paper team acclaim in 2013 ... named team MVP as a junior and offensive leader as a sophomore ... also lettered in hockey (four times) ... was a member of Captain's Council and the Green Team.
PERSONAL: Born Hannah Michelle Schmoll in Grand Rapids, Minn. … is the daughter of Tom and Sheri Schmoll … has two younger brothers (Thomas and Noah) ... is majoring in psychology at UMD.
