All current, UMD Students who have been invoiced their Fall 2018 tuition including their Student Services Fee are eligible to receive FREE and/or greatly reduced priced tickets to all UMD sports. By scanning a student’s UCard the UMD Ticket Office can determine if a student qualifies for these ticket benefits.
Soccer & Football - FREE w/ valid UCard (during regular season only)
- Bulldog Soccer & Football games are both played at Malosky Stadium on Griggs Field
- UMD Student Tickets are General Admission seating only. We ask that you please do not sit in the center, reserved sections as these are for PAID ticket purchasers ONLY. The UMD Student Section is on the home side bleachers on the far end, towards Woodland Ave.
- Please show your UCard at the UMD Student Gate, located on the side of the stadium near Stadium Apartments. Student will receive one FREE ticket per UMD Student per game. If you do not have your UCard when you come to the game, you will be charged full ticket price.
Volleyball & Basketball - FREE w/ valid UCard (during regular season only)
- Bulldog Volleyball & Basketball games are both played at Romano Gymnasium in the Sports and Health Center.
- Most all basketball games are double headers - Women play first followed by the Men. Tickets are good for admittance into both Men's and Women's games.
- All seating is Genearl Admission.
- Please show your UCard at the Ticket Window (located in the lobby of SpHC) and you will receive your FREE ticket into the game.
Women's Hockey - FREE w/ valid UCard (regular season only)
- Bulldog Women's Hockey games are played off-campus at the AMSOIL Arena, located in Dowtown Duluth. You'll need your own transportation to the arena for Women's games.
- To receive your FREE ticket for Women's Hockey you may visit the UMD Ticket Window during Monday - Friday (9:00am - 4:00pm) and show your UCard. You may also visit the AMSOIL Ticket Window to receive your FREE ticket at the game and show your UCard before the 2nd period of the game. If you do not show your UCard, you will be charged full ticket price.
- The Student Section for Women's Hockey is in the lower balcony bleacher seating and is General Admission. The sections located on the sides of the rink are reserved for paid season ticket holders only.
- Parking is available in the DECC parking lot/ramp for $5/event. Free parking is available in most downtown parking ramps and street meter within walking distance to the arena, both outside and/or through the marked Downtown Skywalk System.
Men's Hockey - Single Game Tickets $10 - $15 (if still available) (On sale TBA)
- Bulldog Men's Hockey is played in Downtown Duluth at the AMSOIL Arena. UMD Students may purchase tickets for students at visiting schools. All students UMD and visiting students must provide valid UCard or college ID.
- Both reduced priced UMD Student Season Tickets and Single Game tickets are available until sold out. There are a limited number of student priced seats available. If the student priced seats are sold out, a student can still purchase a Men's Hockey ticket at full price.
- UMD runs 2-3 fan buses to and from the AMSOIL Arena at no additional cost to UMD Students with a game tickets. Buses load on campus in front of the UMD Street Level Store/Bus Hub.
- Single game tickets can be purchased in advance for any regular season home game after the official "on sale date" until SOLD OUT.
- There are two (2) UMD Student Sections, all General Admission, in the AMSOIL Arena for UMD Men's Hockey games. The lower bowl bleacher seats behind the goal at which UMD shoots at twice and the upper bowl theatre style seats in Section 213.
- UMD Students must enter through the UMD Student Gate located ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE AMSOIL ARENA THROUGH TH ENTRANCE LOCATED NEXT TO THE DECC AUDITORIUM/SYMPHONY HALL (harbor side). Doors will open at 5:30pm for students only.
- UMD Student rate tickets can be used ONLY by a UMD Student who has a valid UCard or a visiting student with a valid college student ID. Students must show their game ticket along with their UCard or college ID for entry into each game. If a student does not have their UCard or college ID with them on game night, their ticket will be considered VOID and the student must either retreive their UCard or college ID or exchange their student ticket for a full-price Adult ticket in order to enter the arena.
- UMD Students will be issued wristbands upon entry into the arena. Lower bowl general admission seating will be based upon first come first serve basis.
