BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter for the Panthers. Played both defensive end and tight end during his three years of high school football. Notched all-district first-team honors during his senior season after earning all-district honorable mention as a junior. Won the Great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete Award in 2021. Worked hard in the classroom as well, earning individual academic all-state honors in 2021.

PERSONAL: Son of Wendy and Jarred... has one sibling (Dawson) Plans on majoring in computer science while at UMD.
