Biography

AS A BULLDOG: 
2018: Lined up directly behind starting free safety Bill Atkins on the UMD depth charts ... made 10 appearances for the NSIC champion Bulldogs ... his sophomore statistical printout included 17 total tackles ... registered seven of those stops in UMD's final road assignment (at Minnesota Crookston) ... missed the last two outings of the season with a lower body injury.
2017: Logged limited field time as a reserve in the UMD defensive backfield ... played in five games and came away with two tackles (both in UMD's 37-0 Homecoming win over Minot State) ... wore No. 39.
2016: Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD:  Three-year starter (defensive back and wide receiver) for Madison La Follette High School ... topped the Lancers in both interceptions and receptions as a senior team captain in 2015 ... was an All-Conference award recipient in each of his four seasons with the Madison La Follette High School varsity ... played under Head Coach Scott Swanson ...  also was a three-time track and field letterman with the Lancers. 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Patti and Jeff Jorenby ... is majoring in exercise science at UMD.
