Biography

AS A BULLDOG: 
2018: Was credited with four total tackles (two solos and two assisted stops) while once again as a backup on the Bulldogs' first line of defense ... made six appearances with the last of those coming in the opening round of the NCAA II playoffs against Texas A&M-Commerce.
2017: Paid his dues in a supporting role on the veteran-laden defensive interior ... appeared in five games (including four UMD's five home engagements), but had no defensive statistics to show for it ... did return one kickoff nine yards in a 54-6 home win over Minnesota Crookston.
2016: Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD:  Two-year starter (defensive end and offensive guard) at East Ridge High School ... collared a number of honors for the Raptors as a senior in 2015, including All-District (first team)... voted East Ridges' Outstanding Lineman -- for the second year in a row -- and was a AAA Nominee that year as well  ...  captained the Raptors to a runnerup Minnesota State High School League Class AAAAAA playoff finish in 2015 ... received an invitation to  the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl as a junior ... played under head coaches Mike Pendino and Dan Fritze ... also was a multi-year starter (first and third base) for the East Ridge High School baseball team.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Chula and Timothy (a football letterwinner at the College of St. Olaf) Albrecht .... has one older brother, David, who wrestled at North Dakota State University and Southwest Minnesota State University ... is majoring in biology at UMD.
COLLEGIATE HIGHS: Total Tackles - 2 at Minnesota Crookston (10/27/18) and Minot State (8/30/2018).
