Biography

AS A BULLDOG:
2023:
• 2023 NSIC Tournament championship team member
• Played in a career-most 47 games as a junior
• Had two multiple-hit games

2022: Appeared in 44 games on the year ...posted the third-best batting average on the team at .333. Finished the season with 31 runs, 30 hits, one triple and 13 RBI ... was nearly perfect in the field with a fielding percentage of .967 ...first collegiate hit came on 2/4/22 against Washburn. Earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the first time in her career. 

2021: Saw action in 31 games in her freshman campaign ... accrued 8 runs, including one run in each of her first five games ... stole one base ... recorded one putout.

BEFORE UMD: Attended Esko High School right down the road in Esko, MN. As a member of the softball team at Esko, earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Took home both First Team Duluth All-Area and All-State Honorable Mention in 2019. Was also a four-time participant in the state tournament. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tony and Desiree DeLeon. Has one sibling (Stone). Majoring in Communications at UMD.
