2018: Was tested on somewhat of a restrictive basis -- six of 12 games -- in the talent-laden Bulldog defensive secondary ... registered five total tackles with five of those stops coming in the season finale against NCAA II playoff foe Texas A&M-Commerce.
2017: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (free safety and quarterback) at Winnebago Lutheran Academy ... made his mark in both the offensive and defensive backfields for the Vikings, attaining All-Wisconsin Flyway Conference recognition three times as a quarterback and once as a free safety ... threw for 3,581 yards and rushed for another 1,824 yards during his Viking career ... assumed the Winnebago Lutheran Academy team captaincy role in 2015 and 2016 ... played under head coach John Boggs ... also lettered three times in both basketball (power forward) and baseball (pitcher, first and third baseman) as a prep.
