BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (offensive line, defensive line and tight end) at Denfeld High School ... played under head coach Frank Huie ... started his senior season at tight end before relocating over to offensive guard ... went on to earn All-Section 7AAAA Section, All-Northeast Red Subdistrict and Duluth News-Tribune All-Area honors ... racked up 42 total tackles and a pair of sacks in 2018 ... also lettered three years in basketball (center) for the Hunters.
