2022
Competed in eight games for UMD...Completed 52 passes for a total 642 yards...Threw five touchdown receptions... Averaged a pass completion of 67%...Caught one pass of 15 yards to score a touchdown. 

2021
Appeared in seven games for the Bulldogs. Posted a career-high 692 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns on the season. Added 95 rush yards and two rushing touchdowns. Helped UMD clinch the 2021 NSIC Championship with 226 yards and three touchdowns against Northern State in week eleven. 

2020
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019
Appeared in eight games for UMD. Threw for 415 yards and two touchdowns on the season. Rushed for 53 total yards. Recorded one solo tackle on the year. 

2018
Took a limited number of snaps while handling the No. 4 slot in UMD's quarterback rotation ... went 11-for-16 for 189 yards and one touchdown with no picks in four appearances ... did the majority of his damage in UMD's road finale at Minnesota Crookston, connecting on eight of his 11 throws and amassing 138 yards in the process ... hooked up with Dain Hudson on a 78-yard scoring strike that afternoon as well.

2017
Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.

BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (quarterback) at Minnetonka High School ... completed 232 of 365 passes (.636) for 2,720 yards and 17 touchdowns during his 18 starting assignments ... also rushed for 956 yards and 12 touchdowns on 257 carries over that stretch ... landed All-District West Metro South Team recognition in 2016 and was voted the Skippers' Most Valuable Player ... served as team captain as a senior ... played under head coach Dave Nelson, a member of the UMD Athletic Hall of Fame (Class of 2001) ... has also lettered two seasons in baseball (outfielder).
PERSONAL: Is the son of Steven and Heather Olson ... has no siblings ... is majoring in economics and communication at UMD.
