BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (LB/RB) at Elk River High School… played under head coach Steve Hamilton… team captain his junior and senior year… earned District Offensive MVP his senior year… competed in the 2024 MFCA All-Star Game… MSHSL state champion in 2022 and 2024… participated in track & field.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeremy and Candice Schmidt… graduated class of 2025 from Elk River High School.
