BEFORE UMD: Started all four years at Mesabi East H.S. as a linebacker, running back, and kicker. Was voted a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Earned Northeast All-Conference honors all four years. Was the Giants leading rusher and their top scorer during the 2020 season. Was voted the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. 

PERSONAL: Is the son of Jon and Heidi Skelton ... Has two siblings (Zach and Levi) ... Is majoring in Industrial Engineering at UMD. Away from the field he enjoys skiing and water sports on the lake.
