Wayne State University (2021-24): Two-time GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… four-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… three-time Coach’s Honor Roll… Played in 30 games over the last three seasons, making 20 starts ... recorded 70 career tackles (30 solo and 40 assisted), including 10.5 for loss (4.5 sacks).

BEFORE COLLEGE:  A 2021 graduate of South Lyon High School ... played for coach Jeff Henson… was a three-year letterwinner... selected to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHSFCA) Division 2 All-State First Team in 2020 ... recorded 45 tackles as a senior, including eight for loss (six sacks) ... named to the Detroit Free Press All-North First Team and the All-Lakes Valley Conference First Team as a senior... also wrestled and played lacrosse in high school ... served as a team captain in both football and wrestling.

Personal: Son of Eric and Wendy Taylor ... has one brother(Mark) and one sister (Jane)... graduated from South Lyon High School… majoring in business at UMD.
