Appeared in five games for UMD...Made three tackles during the 2022 season...His interception made against Concordia St. Paul led to a touchdown after he returned it for 24 yards.

Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.

BEFORE UMD: Started for two years at Brookfield East High School. Helped the Spartans to a state championship in 2019. Was named First Team All-Conference and All-Region in 2020. Earned Greater Metro Defensive Lineman of the Year honors during his senior year. 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Jayson and April Kielar ... Has three siblings (Zachary, Ashlea, and Madison) ... Is majoring in business while at UMD ... Enjoys working out, golfing, basketball, and baseball when he's away from the field.
