Biography

AS A BULLDOG:
2021: Played in ten of UMD's twelve games on the year. Emerged as a force on the Bulldog offensive line. Chipped in one solo tackle. Earned All-NSIC First Team honors for the first time in his career. 
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Appeared in all eleven games for the Bulldogs. Registered one solo tackle on the year. 
2018: Joined the sweepstakes for extended playing time on the offensive front, but  -- thanks in part the injury bug -- appeared in just two games (at home against Southwest Minnesota State in Oct 13 and Mary three weeks later) ... was kept out of the lineup for four contests due to two separate  injuries. 
2017: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (offensive and defensive line) at Neuqual Valley High School ... was a 2016 All-Dupage Valley Conference first team pick and All-Dupage County honorable mention honoree ... captained the Wildcats as a senior ... played under head coach Bill Ellinghouse ... also lettered in rugby, basketball (center) and track and field (shot put) for the Wildcats.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Jon and Nora Zeiler ... has two younger siblings (Allison and Ryan) ... is majoring in environmental sustainability and geography at UMD.
