BEFORE UMD: Four-year starter (linebacker, running back, fullback and safety) at Somerset High School ... played under head coach Bruce Larson ... was the 2018 Middle Border Conference Player Year ... earned All-MBC honors three consecutive times ... captained the Spartans as a junior and senior and was their leading ground gainer both of those seasons ... National Honor Society member.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Mike and Lynsey Peterson ... has two younger siblings (Carson and Lily) ... is majoring in biology at UMD.
