BEFORE UMD: Started all four years as a center, guard, and defensive tackle at Woodbury H.S. Served as a team captain during his senior season while earning Conference Lineman of the Year honors. Received All-Conference honors in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Was named to the Minnesota Vikings All-State Team in 2020. 

PERSONAL: Is the son of Bryan and Lisa Raines ... Has two siblings (Taylor and McKenna) ... Plans on majoring in Engineering at UMD. Sister (Taylor) runs track at the University of Northern Iowa. Enjoys golfing and hanging out with friends when he's away from the field.
