AS A BULLDOG:
2017: Landed his first starting assignment in 2017 and responded with a season worthy of All-NSIC first team recognition ... was chosen to the Don Hansen All-Super Region third team as well ... made 10 starts -- all at center --  and helped pave the way for an offense that ranked second among all NSIC schools in both total yards (411.4 per game) and passing yards (249.4 per game) ... missed the Minnesota State-Mankato showdown while nursing a lower body injury.
2016: Backed up senior right offensive guard Connor Randall for the second year in a row ... played in 10 games, including the NCAA II playoff bout at Emporia State.
2015: Handled a relief role and made three appearances (vs. Wayne State on Sept. 12, Minnesota Crookston on Oct. 24 and Northern State on Oct. 31).
2014: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Three-time letterwinner and three-year starter at defensive tackle and on the offensive line at Champlin Park High School ... played under head coach Mike Korton ... voted the Northwest Suburban Conference Offensive & Defensive Lineman of the Year (2013) ... was an All-Northwest Suburban Conference pick (2012, 2013) and the Rebels' Most Valuable Player award winner (2013) ... Minnesota State High School League All-Star game nominee (2013) ... was a prep teammate of fellow 2016 third-year Bulldog Matt Juneau ... also lettered twice in baseball (first baseman) at Champlin Park High School ... is majoring in teaching social studies at UMD.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Jay and Karla Anderson ... is majoring in teaching social studies.
