•2019 NSIC NORTH DIVISION PRESEASON OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR•
AS A BULLDOG: 
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Played in seven games for UMD. Led the Bulldogs with 1,527 passing yards while recording 19 passing touchdowns. Ran for 306 yards and two touchdowns on the season. 
2018:  Bid his sophomore year a premature adieu after incurring a lower body injury seven weeks into the season ... still managed to put up numbers worthy of All-NSIC North Division first team praise despite bypassing the final five games ... established a career-high for total offense (a team-leading 1,778 yards) ... completed 60.5 percent of his passes (going 101-of-167) and threw for 1,343 yards ...  ranked second among Bulldogs in rushing (435 yards and five touchdowns on 82 carries) ... became the first Bulldog in over three years to claim the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week Award after having a hand in six touchdowns in UMD's 60-7 home thumping of MSU-Moorhead on Sept. 8 ... delivered five scoring strikes that night while connecting on 15 of 19 passes for 281 yards with no interceptions and added another 90 yards and a touchdown on the ground ... concluded the season with 800 career rushing yards, the most of any current Bulldog.
2017: Locked down All-NSIC North Division second team honors following a stellar debut season (particularly down the stretch) ... paced the NSIC in both pass efficiency (153.9) and yards per completion (14.4) and was third in touchdown tosses (16)  even after missing a pair of games due to injury ... made good in 95 of 165 passes for 1,372 yards and just three interceptions ... placed third among all Bulldog rushers with 365 yards on 90 carries ... established personal bests in basically every statistical category in the season finale with Central Missouri ... rolled up 371 yards while going 23-of-47 passing and rushed a team-high 19 times for another 50 yards ... his 421 yards of total offense that afternoon against the Mules ranked seventh on the program's all-time single-game charts ...  held the distinction of being part of both the longest pass (81 yards) and run (51 yards) play by a 2017 Bulldog.    
2016 - Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Four-year starter (quarterback and linebacker) at Braham High School ... was chosen the Great Polar Conference's Most Valuable Player for a third consecutive year as a senior ... quarterbacked the Bombers to a pair of Great Polar Conference titles and three Section championships ... served as Braham High School's team captain in both 2015 and 2014 ... held down the top spot on the Bomber scoring and touchdowns charts and reigned as their leading rusher twice ...  played under coach Shawn Kuhnke ... was also a four-time All-Great Polar Conference basketball honoree (point guard and power forward) in addition to lettering three years in both baseball (left fielder and third baseman) and track (sprints) while a prep.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Jen and John Larson ...  his younger brother, Ryan, is a sophomore basketball guard at NCAA I Wofford College .. is majoring in mechanical engineering at UMD.
