BEFORE UMD: Started one season (2016) on both the offensive and defensive lines at Eau Claire's Regis High School ... captained the Ramblers to the 2016 WIAA Division 6 state title and perfect 14-0 record ... was a second team All-Cloverbelt Conference honoree ... endured a injury-plagued junior season ... earned state All-Academic recognition as a senior ... played under Bryant Brenner ... also started two years in basketball (center) and three seasons in baseball (two-time all-conference pitcher and utility player).
PERSONAL: Is the son of Timothy (a former Michigan Tech University basketball letterman) and Janet McCann ... is majoring in accounting at UMD.
