BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (wide receiver, tight end and tackle) at Champlin Park High School, including in 2016 when the Rebels advanced to the Minnesota State Class AAAAAA Playoff semifinals ... played under head coach Mike Korton ... was a football teammate of fellow 2019 UMD redshirt freshman Treyvon Cahalan at Champlin Park ... also lettered three times in hockey (defenseman) and once in baseball (catcher) with the Rebels.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Steve and Roxy Shelllum ... has one older sister (Megan) ... is majoring in criminology at UMD.
