AS A BULLDOG: Was redshirted as a first-year freshman in 2011.

BEFORE UMD: Led Cannon Falls High School in both total tackles and rushing during the 2010, 2009 and 2008 seasons ... ran for 1,532 career yards and scored 16 touchdowns as a senior to go with a 314 tackles ... snared Southeast Minnesota All-Area honors his final two years with the Bombers ... broke Cannon Falls' single-season record for yards per carry (7.54) as a senior ... captained the Bombers in 2010 and 2009 and was an All-Hiawatha Valley Conference selection both of those years ... started three seasons for Head Coach Josh Hofstedt ... also lettered in baseball, wrestling and weightlifting as a prep.
