Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.

BEFORE UMD: Lettered all four years while at Minnetonka High School. Under Head Coach Mark Esch, he was named a team captain during his senior season. Earned All-District Honorable Mentions in both 2019 and 2020. Was awarded the John Mattox Memorial Scholarship during his final season at Minnetonka. 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Scott Grefe and Lorie Reller ... plans on majoring in Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at UMD. Enjoys boating and other outdoor activities in his free time.
