BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (WR/DB) at Hermantown High School… played under head coach Mike Zagelmeyer… All-Star Game participant his senior year… team captain for the Hawks in 2023 … holds school records for receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns in both a single season and career… Hermantown Male Athlete of the Year Award 2024… participated in golf for six years… started in basketball for two years… participated in both golf and basketball state competitions in two seasons.

PERSONAL: Son of Kyle and Paula Menzel… has three sisters (Hailey, Rachel, and Megan)… graduated class of 2024 from Hermantown High School.
