Biography

AS A BULLDOG: 
2016: Made four appearances (all of the bench) and produced no statistics ... was sidelined for the opening two games off the season with a lower body injury ... qualified for the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2016: Engaged in three spot assignments at both the linebacker and running back positions ... rushed once for one yard at Minnesota Crookston and was involved in a pair of tackles in UMD's final home game of the year Mary.
2015: Paid his dues as a backup linebacker ... made three appearances and had one tackle (in the home opener with Wayne State) to his credit ... also saw action in the Mineral Water Bowl against Fort Hays State.
2014: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman in 2014.
BEFORE UMD: Four-year letterman (running back) and two-year starter at Lincoln High School ... played under head coach Tony Biolo ... was an All-Wisconsin Valley Conference first team (2012) and All-Area first team (2012) pick  ... 2013 Red Raider team captain ... rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns in opening game of 2013 before suffering a season-ending injury ... reigned as the Raider rushing leader in 2012 ... also lettered three years in track (sprints) at Lincoln High School. 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Randy and Amy Duxbury ... is majoring in criminology at UMD.
