BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (DB) at De Pere High School… played under head coach Ben Strickland… team captain his senior year… led the team in interceptions his junior year… 2x All-Conference awards (2023, 2024)... participated in baseball... First Team All-District and Second Team All-State selections in baseball.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Amy Wettstein… has two sisters (Alli and Megan)… earned an Academic award at De Pere High School… graduated class of 2025.
