2015: Made his presence felt immediately in his debut Bulldog go-around ... started 11 of 12 games at strong safety and had a hand in 41 total tackles (only four Bulldogs registered more stops) ... also was credited with 7.0 tackles for a loss, four pass breakups, and one pick (in a 14-9 road triumph over Bemidji State on Nov. 7).
BEFORE UMD: Was a member of the University of Northern Iowa football program for three years prior to transferring to UMD in the fall of 2015 ... played in all 14 games for the 2014 Panthers while being deployed as a reserve in the defensive secondary and special teams for the second year in a row ... was credited with 10 total tackles that season ... made nine appearances in 2013 after being redshirted the previous year ... is a 2012 graduate of Hopkins High School ... received all-state second team honors as a senior in addition to securing his second consecutive All-Lake Conference citation ... paced the Royals in tackles during his farewell prep season ... captained Hopkins High School in both 2011 and 2010 while playing for head coach John DenHartog ... also was a two-year track letterman.
