2022
• All-NSIC Second Team Honors
Competed in all 11 games for UMD...Posted 40 tackles with 30 solo and 10 assisted...Made one interception and compelted four pass defense...Recovered one fumble.

2021
Missed most of the season due to an injury. Suited up in the final three games of the season. Noted three solo tackles and five total tackles on the year. 

2020
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019
Played in 10 games for the Bulldogs... Finished the season with 18 total tackles, including 11 solo tackles... Turned in one interception and returned it for two yards... Posted two pass break-ups on the year.

2018
Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman ... played in 30 games (14 as a starting outfielder) for the baseball Bulldogs in 2019 ... batted .206 and had a pair of homers to his rookie-year credit ... also made three pitching appearances.

BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter (defensive back/quarterback) at Cloquet Senior High School ... is the reigning Duluth News Tribune All-Area Player of the Year ... helped lead the Lumberjacks to the 2017 Minnesota State Class AAAA title game (their first trip to the playoff finals since 1976) ... strutted his stuff at the 2017 Minnesota Football Showcase (an all-star game for Minnesota's top seniors) this past December ...  completed 100 of 179 passes for 1,439 yards and 16 touchdowns and rolled up another 1,156 yards on the ground as a senior en route to being chosen the Northeast Red sub-district Most Valuable Player ... played under head coach Tom Lenarz ... lettered three seasons in both baseball (All-Conference center fielder and pitcher) and basketball (All-Section guard) at Cloquet High School.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Brent and Shawna Pokornowski ... has five siblings (Evan, Markus, MaeLyn, Elli and Talon) ... is majoring in communications at UMD.
