BEFORE UMD: Two-year starter for Osceola High School ... quarterbacked and captained the Cheiftans to the 2015 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 4 title as well as the Middle Border Conference crown ... threw for over 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns with no picks as a senior ... completed 62.2 percent of his passes that year and earned a Wisconsin Top 3 QB rating of 142.7 ... also rushed for 12 touchdowns in 2015 ... was rewarded for his stellar senior season efforts with All-Middle Border Conference recognition ... played for head coach Scott Newton ... lettered in three other sports at Osceola High School (baseball, basketball, and track).
