Biography

AS A BULLDOG:
2017:  Battled the injury bug for a second straight year ... was part of the Bulldogs' opening night lineup before being injured the following weekend at Upper Iowa ... made seven appearances in all, catching two passes for 19 yards.
2016:  Missed a third of the season with an upper body injury and subsequently suffered a slight decline in his offensive production from the previous fall ... wrapped up the year with three catches and 23 receiving yards ...  started in five of the eight games he saw field time
2015: Helped himself to a first-team tight job and furnished the Bulldog air attack with six receptions and 98 yards ... played in all 12 games (seven as a starter) ... was on the receiving end of a couple of scoring strikes, including one with 19 seconds to go in the first half of the Mineral Water Bowl that gave the Bulldogs the lead for good (at 17-14) in their 30-22 takedown of Fort Hays State ... hooked up with Drew Bauer on UMD's third -longest pass play of the season (a 60-yarder) at Minnesota State-Moorhead ... sat out the entire 2016 spring practice while tending to an ailing shoulder.  
2014: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Was a three-time football letterman (tight end/linebacker/punter) and two-year starter at Lakeville South High School ... played under head coach Larry Thompson ... All-South Suburban Conference first team (2013) and honorable mention (2012) ... All-State honorable mention (2013) ... Academic All-State candidate (2013) ... Cougar team captain (2012 and 2013) ... also lettered twice in basketball (forward) at Lakeville South High School. 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Kevin and Shar Lattery ... is majoring in finance at UMD.
COLLEGIATE HIGHS: Pass Receptions - 2 at Mary (10/17/15). Pass Reception Yards - 60 at MSU-Moorhead (10/3/15). Pass Reception Touchdowns - 1 vs. Fort Hays State (12/5/15) and at Mary (10/17/15). Longest Pass Reception - 60 yds. at MSU-Moorhead (10/3/15).
