BEFORE UMD: Anchored the Hudson High School secondary the past three seasons and also strutted his muscle at the running back and kick/punt returner positions ... secured All-Big Rivers Conference citations on three occasions (first team in 2011 and second team in 2010 and 2009) and All-Region status last fall ... captained the 2011 Raiders .... paced the Raiders in tackles as a junior and ... played under head coach Adam Kowles .... was a two-year letterman in basketball (point guard) and track (sprints and high jump) ... member of the National Honor Society ... is the son of UMD defensive coordinator Todd Strop and Sarah Jamieson.
