Was redshirted as a first-year freshman.

BEFORE UMD: Three-starter for the Knights of St. Michael-Albertville. Was named first-team all-district in both 2020 and 2021. Was the Knights's most valuable offensive lineman during both his junior and senior seasons. Was named to the Associated Press All-State Second Team in 2021, while also being a Minneapolis Star-Tribune All-Metro Second Team nominee the same season. Helped the Knights to a semifinal appearance in the 2021 Minnesota State Class AAAAAA playoffs.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Drew and Tammy... has one sister (Zoe)... is majoring in business at UMD.
