BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter (RB/LB/DB) at Anoka High School… played under head coach Bo Wasurick… team captain his junior and senior year… 3x All-Conference award… 3x All-District selection… 2x All-Metro selection… 2x Team MVP Award (2023, 2024)... 2x Defensive MVP… All-State his senior year… participated in track & field… All-State selection… 2x All-Conference (400m). 

PERSONAL: Son of Molly Welch… graduated class of 2025 from Anoka High School.
