2019- Earned her rookie keep as mostly a pinch hitter and runner while seeing spot duty at the second base, shortstop and third base positions ... was called into action in 18 games.
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2019 graduate of Faribault High School ... was a  three-sport athlete as a prep, competing in softball, basketball and swimming ...  played five seasons at shortstop for the softball Falcons and head coach Chris Silber  ... helped prope the Falcons  to the Minnesota State Tournament Class AAA championship game  as a senior ... received  Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-State honorable mention status that spring ...  also named to the Minnesota State All-Tournament team for her role in the school's first-ever state championship ... was a Section 2AAA honoree in 2018 and a four-time All-Big 9 Conference player ... captained the Falcons as a junior and a senior ... received the team's Gold Glove award (10th-12th), Offensive MVP (9th-11th) and most valuable player (11th-12th) distinctions ... played forward for basketball Falcons for four seasons, captaining them as a junior and senior ... claiming all-state swimming honors  four times and all-conference accolades on five occasions ... captained the swim team to a Big 9 title and owns four school records (50m and 200m free, 400m free and 200m medley) ... involved in Link Crew, Big Brother Big Sister and Little Falcons while at Faribault H.S.
PERSONAL: Born Breanna Shaye Bresnahan in Faribault, Minn. ... is the daughter of Jeff and Jan Bresnahan ... has two older siblings (Brady, a Carthage College swimming and diving alumn,  and Alana) ... is majoring in business at UMD.
