GETTING TO KNOW JONNY TOSTENSON:
Why I Chose UMD: I like the outdoors, and campus is pretty close to my sister. It was also the only college I toured.
Influences On My Athletic Career: My uncle has always been there to support me and push me to be the best athlete I can be, along with the rest of my family, coaches, and teammates.
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I’ve caught all 720 Pokémon.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: Taking a nice long nap on the bus ride.

High School Highlights: Cross Country State participant senior year, all conference in cross 3 years (conference champion once), all conference in track five years, competed in the 800m at State Track three times (placing 8th and 3rd)
