UMD Athletics

BEFORE UMD:
Played one season for the University of Minnesota before transferring to UMD. Garnered 24 games played for the Gophers in 2023, which ended in the NCAA Regional bid. Recorded one official at-bat and scored six runs during her Gopher tenure. A 2022 graduate of Luverne High School. Earned a spot on the 2022 Class AA Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association and MN Softball Hub All-State First Teams. Named to the 2022 Alliance League All-Star Team Watch List representing the Heart of America Fastpitch League. An all-conference honoree from 2018-21 and was named to the All-State Team in both 2018 and 2021. Also lettered in hockey for the Cardinals.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jenny and Chris Connell. Has one sibling, Conner. Plans to major in Health Care Management at UMD.
