AS A BULLDOG:
2019 - Turned in a junior year worthy of All-NSIC second team praise ... set career highs for appearances (35), innings (195.1) and complete games (25) while going 18-11 with a 2.76 earned run average ... also had two saves and one shutout (an 8-0 triumph at Upper Iowa on April 20) ... reeled off five consecutive wins between April 20 and April 28.
2018 - Blossomed into one of the key hurlers for the Bulldogs ... toed the rubber as the No. 2 starter and posted a 21-5 record and a 3.21 ERA in her 27 starts ... became the first UMD pitcher to post 20-plus wins since Megan Mullen did so in 2012 ... her 21 wins paced the Bulldogs and tied for the NSIC lead ... held opponents to a .257 batting average ... amassed 152.2 innings and tossed 86 strikeouts ... threw 18 complete games and tossed one shutout, a 1-0 one-hitter against St. Cloud State on March 27 ... won 14 straight starts from March 3 to April 19 and compiled 14 complete games during that span.
2017 - Provided needed depth in the Bulldog rotation as a freshman, making six starts and 12 relief appearances ... went 6-3 with a 2.71 ERA ... threw two complete games and compiled three saves, tying fellow freshman Ashley Taipale for most saves ... tossed the third-most innings (62.0) of any Bulldog on the staff ... topped the rotation in opposing batting average (.242) ... her .230 average was the best against left-handed batters ... also first among the staff at getting outs with runners at .231 ... struck out 29 batters ... made her first collegiate debut and start against Arkansas Tech on Feb. 17 ... notched her first win of her career in five innings of work versus LIU Post ... capped her first save over St. Cloud State on March 28.
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2016 graduate of Lindhurst High School ... lettered all four seasons for the Blazers ... was the leader of the 2016 squad coached by Bill Biggs ... captained the Blazers all four seasons at the varsity level ... was awarded the honor of being Northern California Player of the Year her senior year ... was a three-time All-Golden Empire League Most Valuable Player (2014, 2015, and 2016) ... named as a Sacramento Bee first team honorable mention (2015) and an Appeal Democrat first team (2014 and 2015).
PERSONAL: Born Breanna Aline Swint in Texas City, Texas. ... is the daughter of Richard and Christina Swint ... is majoring in physical therapy at UMD.
