Biography

AS A BULLDOG:
2023:
• 2023 NSIC Tournament championship team member
• 2023 All-Academic District Team when College Sports Communicators (CSC)
• 2023 NSIC All-Academic Team / Team of Excellence honoree
• Started in all 53 games, and piled up 29 RBIs, fifth most on the team
• Had 37 hits, which included six doubles and six home runs
• Had 60 assists on defense and 24 putouts

2022: Appeared in 36 games for the Bulldogs during her sophomore season, mostly as a pinch hitter. Finished third on the team in slugging percentage at .508. Tallied new career-highs in batting average (.286), runs (13), hits (18), triples (1), home runs (4) and RBI (16). Was nearly perfect in the field with a fielding percentage of .960. Earned Second Team All-NSIC honors for her efforts. Also got it done in the classroom. Earned both NSIC All-Academic honors and received the NSIC Academic Team of Excellence Award. 

2021: Became a regular in the rotation during her freshman season ... played in 31 games and started 17 ... had four runs on 11 hits, including five doubles ... hit her first collegiate homerun on March 7 against Northwest Missouri State ... amassed six RBI.

BEFORE UMD: Attended Saint Michael Albertville High School in Saint Michael, Minn. As a member of the softball team at Saint Michael, notched All-Conference honors three times during her four years. Took home both Second Team All-State and Third Team All-Metro. Was named the Conference MVP. Also earned a spot on the state tournament's All-Tournament team. Still holds Saint Michael Albertville's career hits record. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jason and Becky Potts. Has one sibling (Eli). Majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
