Biography

2024 (Sophomore):
  • Participated in 38 games, starting in 31
  • Achieved a batting average of .257 over 105 at-bats, 40 putouts and 11 assists
  • Produced 27 hits, including seven doubles and a pair of home runs, and knocked in 15 runs at the dish
  • Amassed her first-ever three-hit contest coming against Wayne State back on Feb. 22
  • Recorded a six-game hitting streak from Mar. 8 to Mar. 25
2023 (Freshman):
  • 2023 NSIC Tournament championship team member
  • Started in 37 games, had 22 hits which included 5 doubles, 2 triples and 3 home runs
  • Collected first collegiate hit on Feb. 3 against Northwest Missouri State
  • Mashed her first collegiate home run against Newman on Feb. 18
  • Went 2-for-4 against Augustana in the NSIC Tournament championship game, with two runs
BEFORE UMD: A 2022 graduate of Hastings High School. A two-sport athlete at Hastings, competing in both softball and swimming. With the softball team, took home All-Conference honors during both her junior and senior seasons. During her senior season in 2022, also earned All-Section and All-State Honorable Mention. With the swim team, earned All-Conference recognition all four years of high school and was also an All-State Honorable Mention during her senior season. Got it done in the classroom as well, as she was an academic letter receiver each year of high school. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Chris and Kate Jenkins. Has one sibling, Lauren. Plans on majoring in Exercise Science at UMD.
