Biography

AS A BULLDOG:
2021: Cemented her legacy as one of the most dominant players in Bulldog history ... started in all 47 games this season -- meaning she started in 231 of 231 possible games in her five years as a Bulldog, setting an individual career record for games played, games started, and consecutive games started ... stepped up to the plate 146 times ... garnered 53 runs on 58 hits ... scored ten homeruns ... tallied 26 RBI ...  had an on-base percentage of .503 and a fielding percentage of .961 ... strung together a twelve-game hit streak ... received NSIC All-Conference Second Team honors and NFCA DII Central Region Second Team honors ... also awarded for her efforts in the classroom on the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2020: Started in all 19 games played before the season was canceled due to COVID-19 ... remained one of the top scorers for the Bulldogs, garnering 22 runs on 31 hits, including eight doubles, a triple, and five homeruns ... tallied 14 RBI ... recorded an on-base percentage of .506.
2019: Collared All-NSIC second team honors after starting in all 55 games and turning in a .309 batting average (the second best mark on the club) ... racked up 13 doubles and a career-high 10 homers while generating a .566 slugging percentage ... strung together a nine-game hitting streak between April 24 and May 9 ... hit .370 with runners in scoring position ...  needs five more walks to become the Bulldogs' all-time leader in that department (Jordan Rice, 2012-15, is currently No. 1 with 75 base on balls).
2018: Became one of the premier defensive infielders in the NSIC  ... cracked the starting lineup in all 55 games at third base and landed a spot on the NSIC All-Gold Glove Team  ... sported a .987 fielding percentage, making only two errors in 159 chances ... helped turned 12 double plays ... provided stability in the middle of the lineup notching a .267 batting average with six home runs and 36 RBI ... paced the Bulldogs and the NSIC with 36 walks, a single-season program record passing Erin Hunecke (27, 2012) ... recorded seven multi-hit games including a four-hit effort against Wayne State College on April 28 ... registered three 4-RBI games ... was one of three Bulldogs to record multiple triples.
2017: Made a splash at the hot corner of third base in her rookie season starting in all 55 games ... was one of only four Bulldogs to start in every game ... crushed 10 home runs and drove in 42 RBI to lead the club ... her 17 two-out RBIs was the most among her teammates ... showed a keen eye at the plate drawing a team high 20 walks ... was fifth on the team in hits with 47 that contributed to her .294 batting average and .558 slugging percentage ... all led Bulldogs in batting average against lefties (.444) and with the bases loaded (.500) ... was a part of the fielding crew that notched the program single-season record for fielding percentage (.974) in school history ... her first collegiate hit went over the fence for a solo shot versus Henderson State on Feb. 18 ... recorded first double on Feb. 19 versus Emporia State and first triple on April 8 against Minnesota State ... had 12 multi-RBI games including a personal-best 4 RBIs over U-Mary on April 1 ... was not caught on the base paths going a perfect 7-for-7.

Is a 2016 graduate of Eden Prairie High School ... started all four years for the Eagles ... four-time recipient of both All-Lake Conference (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016) and All-Section (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016) honors ... three-time team Most Valuable Player (2014, 2015, and 2016) ... 2016 Ms. Softball finalist ... earned first team All-Metro and Star Tribune All-State honors her senior year ... captained the Eagles her junior and senior season ... played under head coach Dan Rubishko ... also a two-time letter winner in hockey (forward) for the Eagles.

PERSONAL: Born Lauren Marie Oberle in Edina, Minn. ... is the daughter of Jon and Karen Oberle ...  her mother played volleyball while her father played baseball at Minnesota State University-Mankato ... has one older brother (Davis) ... is majoring in public health at UMD.
