AS A BULLDOG:
2017 - Named to the All-NSIC first team during her junior season ... once again paced the Bulldogs in numerous categories including batting average (.360), hits (67), doubles (18), triples (5), total bases (104), at-bats (186) and slugging percentage (.559) ... was one of four Bulldogs to start all 55 games ... made an impact at the No. 1 and No. 2 batting slots ... started the year with two hits, four RBIs and a home run in the season opener against Nebraska Kearney ... produced 20 multi-hit contests including five three-hit performances ... smashed an extra base hit in five consecutive games (four doubles and a home run) from April 22 to April 25 ... recorded a season-high two triples against Grand Valley State on March 5 ... had a nine-game hitting streak stretching from March 10 to March 28 ... registered a .965 fielding percentage at second base compiling 123 putouts and 99 assists ... was a part of the fielding crew that notched the program single-season record for fielding percentage (.974) in school history.
2016 - Collared both NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region second team and All-NSIC first team honors ... paced the 2016 Bulldogs in a number of statistical categories including batting average (.373), hits (66), home runs (eight), runs batted in (47), on-base percentage (.418), total bases (107), slugging percentage (.605) and fielding assists (a school-record 125) ... started all 52 games at second base ... pieced together a 20-game hitting streak (just four short of a program record) between March 8 and April 20 ... closed out her sophomore season with 21 multi-hit and 13 multi-RBI games ... batted a clutch .433 with runners in scoring position ... hit out of the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots in the batting order during the course of the year ...  advanced runners 67.4 percent of the time (a Bulldog best)  ... was one of seven Bulldogs to qualify for the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015 - Proved to be an instant hit with the Bulldogs ... answered the starting call at second base in all 55 engagements and had a .314 batting average to show for it ... was penciled in the leadoff spot a team-high 28 times ... topped the Bulldogs in fielding assists (107) and shared the UMD lead (with Sami Schnyder) in walks with 18 ... also had five home runs and ranked fifth among her teammates in both slugging percentage (.444) and on-base percentage (.444).
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2014 graduate of Forest Lake High School ... started all four seasons for the Rangers ... played under head coach Angie Ryan ... participated in three Minnesota State Class AAA tournaments for Forest Lake clubs that placed second in 2011 and third in 2013 ... wrapped up a stellar senior season by repeating as a Minnesota State Class AAA Tournament first team member selection ... was named to the Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro team in her junior and senior seasons ... was awarded All-Suburban East Conference acclaim on three occasions (2012-14) ... also spent four seasons competing for the Ranger tennis and dance programs ... was part of the National Honor Society, Link Leader, Bleacher Captain and Forest Lake Rotary Club.
PERSONAL: Born Natalie Jo Wright in Wyoming, Minn. ... is the daughter of Mike and Jaci Wright ... both parents attended UMD from 1981-85 and her father played baseball for the Bulldogs for two years ... has two older brothers (Ryan and Andrew) ... is majoring in psychology at UMD.
